American artist Billie Eilish turned 18 last December. However, her talent and the success she has seen has far surpassed her age. With each passing day, Eilish sets new records and reaches newer heights.

Earlier in the month, she became the youngest ever to score four Grammy nominations.

Now, Eilish has become the youngest artist in history to write and record a song for a James Bond film. While complete details are yet to be released, it is known that Eilish has written the song with her elder brother Finneas O’Connell.

The song is for the next and the 25th edition of Bond movie, No Time To Die, to be released in April 2020. This movie will also be Daniel Craig’s last appearance as James Bond.

“It feels crazy to be a part of this in every way,” Eilish said in a statement. “James Bond is the coolest film franchise ever to exist. I’m still in shock.”

Interestingly, the last two Bond theme songs – Skyfall by Adele and Writing on the Wall by Sam Smith – have gone on to win an Academy Award for the best original song.

Billie Eilish now joins an exclusive club of artists such as Paul McCartney, Duran Duran, and Madonna who have been asked to sing Bond theme songs.

Isn’t this singer an amazing one? What do you think of this choice for the next Bond theme song? Let us know your views in the comments section below.
