7-year-old Timothy Madders from Billericay in Essex spent his lockdown period with his family creating interesting word search puzzles.

And to bring some cheer across the otherwise gloomy atmosphere, he also made a Happiness Word Search puzzle for the Queen of England in the beginning of May, in case she might be ‘sad or lonely.’ Queen Elizabeth II and her husband are known to be living in isolation at the Windsor Castle amid the pandemic. The puzzle contained hidden words such as ‘joy,’ ‘family,’ ‘smile,’ ‘sunshine,’ and ‘jolly.’

And he posted the puzzle to the Queen with a beautiful handwritten letter than said, “Dear Queen Elizabeth, You might be feeling sad or lonely during lockdown, so I thought I could make a word search for you to cheer you up. Love from Timothy Madders.”

So, little Tim posted the letter and forgot all about it.

However, his happiness knew no bounds when recently Timothy received a reply from the Queen for his thoughtfulness!

The letter, from one of the monarch’s ladies in waiting, Philippa de Pass, said: ‘The Queen wishes me to write and thank you for your kind letter, and for the puzzle you have created especially for Her Majesty.

‘Your thoughtfulness is greatly appreciated, and The Queen hopes that you too are keeping safe and well in the current situation.

‘I am to thank you very much indeed for writing as you did at this time.’

Timothy’s mother, Jo Madders told BBC News, “He picked happiness as a theme because he wanted words that would make people think of happy things as they did it.”

Little Timothy’s gesture has been winning hearts online with many netizens applauding the thoughtfulness of this little boy!
