While most photographs circulated on social media show pictures and videos of the police and authorities using brutal force against protesters in the United States demonstrating against the death of George Floyd in police custody in Minnesota, there were also some heartening pictures and videos going around social media that showed the humane side of the police.

In some cities of the United States, police squads joined the protesters to express their solidarity with the anti-racist movement that has take the nation by a storm.

Showing a strong message of unity in Fargo in North Dakota, a police officer was seen holding hands with protest organizers and holding up a sign that read, “We are one race . . . The HUMAN race.”
