Obama helps volunteers at Chicago food bank

This is not the first time Obama has volunteered during Thanksgiving.

In a Thanksgiving surprise, former U.S. President Barack Obama visited a food bank in Chicago and worked alongside the volunteers there. Obama, who was on a visit to Chicago for a summit, took volunteers by surprise at the Greater Chicago Food Depository when he walked in unannounced and true to the Thanksgiving spirit, helped them in packing potatoes to be sent out to the needy. Obama also got heaps of food to be donated along with him to the shelter. He was accompanied by the people from his Obama Foundation on this visit. This is not the first time Obama has volunteered during Thanksgiving.
