Today is Father’s Day!

In many societies, a father is looked upon as the head of the family, the breadwinner, and a provider. And while the dynamics of parenting have changed in the past few years, the mother is generally looked upon as the primary caregiver for children in the family.

However, various studies have consistently demonstrated that paternal engagement can have a very positive and beneficial role on children. Their candid style of communication and their need to drive their children to independence has a favorable impact on their kids.

And there is no doubt that fatherhood and the role of a father must be celebrated!

The first Father’s Day was celebrated in 1909 in the United States, and from then on, it is observed on the third Sunday of June annually.
