New Year celebrations from across the world

2020 is finally over, and we are not complaining. It has been a tumultuous and harrowing year for quite a few of us. And the excitement to ring in the new year was palpable.

The world welcomed 2021, albeit with much caution and restrain. While the celebrations were muted and festivities were cancelled in the wake of a more contagious variant of the virus, they were still worth a watch.
