Nature is so whimsical and unpredictable. Would you agree? On one hand, you see the regular mundane things here and there, and suddenly, out of nowhere, nature springs a surprise on you by showing you something that you never imagined.

This is exactly what happened a few days back.

What do you imagine when you hear the word ‘zebra’? Those regular black and white stripes. Isn’t it?

This is exactly where nature springs a surprise on you.

Recently, a zebra foal was spotted in Kenya’s Maasai Mara National Reserve. And what was so special about this? Instead of having the regular black and white stripes, this zebra has polka dots!

Photographer Frank Liu noticed the beautiful creature and put up some videos and photos on his Instagram page. “At first glance, he looked like a different species altogether,” Liu said.

The captivating creature was first spotted by a Masai guide, Antony Tira, who named it ‘Tira.’

And, understandably, the pictures have gone viral!

The Masaai Mara National Reserve Facebook page also shared pictures of the zebra.

According to National Geographic, this is a result of a condition called pseudomelanism, a rare genetic mutation.

Doesn’t the creature look absolutely breathtaking? What do you think? Share your views in the comments section below.
