Apple may release M2 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros as early as this fall

In terms of design, we can expect Apple to play it safe and not introduce major changes.

Apple may launch an M2-powered Mac mini, and M2 Pro-powered Mac mini this year.

With the M2, Apple noted that it focused on power efficiency in designing the chip. The company is using a 5 nm technology.

The M2 now features 10 cores, two more than the M1. This gives it 25% more performance at the same power level as the M1 .

According to Bloomberg analyst Mark Gurman, the tech giant is now looking to gear up its 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with the brand new processor, giving the devices a welcome upgrade

The Silicon versions launched in 2021 and the cycle might be reduced to one year instead of 1.5 or 2 years.
