Yesterday, NASA launched its enormous next-generation rocket into space for the first time.

At 1:47 AM ET, the Space Launch System rocket, or SLS was launched from Cape Canaveral, Florida.

The return to the Moon represents a great accomplishment for NASA's Artemis mission.

Artemis mission has been troubled by years of delays, construction hiccups, and enormous expense overruns.
